Zunheboto DC warns against illegal collection of student registration fees

Dimapur: Zunheboto deputy commissioner (DC) Dharam Raj on Thursday issued a strong warning against the illegal and unauthorised collection of money from non-indigenous inhabitants in Zunheboto town, particularly under the guise of ‘student registration fees.’

In an official notice, the DC declared that such practices by any individual or organization are illegal and constitute a punishable offence. He cautioned that strict action will be taken against anyone found engaging in these unlawful activities.

Furthermore, the DC moved to clarify and restrict the enforcement of ILP regulations.
