High command is like a temple: Minister Satish Jarkiholi

Chitradurga: PWD minister Satish Jarkiholi said in Hosadurga that the high command is final authority to resolving issues within the party. Speaking to the media in Hosadurga, he said the High Command is like a temple to them. They went there to express their joys and sorrows, and they found solutions to their problems, he clarified. Commenting on current political developments in the state, the minister said they their govt worked on development projects for all sections, including SC-ST, and won elections, he explained. The Minister dismissed the opposition's allegations that the state govt's treasury was empty, and said funds were being allocated to the irrigation and PWD departments. The opposition made it a habit to make baseless accusations, he retorted. On the Metro fare hikes, he said it fell under the jurisdiction of the central govt, and speculated that perhaps due to public opposition or media reports, the central govt stopped the fare increase. He also said the necessary funds would be allocated for the Upper Bhadra Project in the budget.
