Veerendra Heggade launches SHG

Hubballi: D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, inaugurated Pragati Badhu Self-Help Group. At a function held at RN Shetty Kalyan Mantap organised by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Graminabhivruddhi Yojane BC Trust(R), Heggade inaugurated the self-help group which is the 17,501st district-level unit and also distributed various facilities. Addressing the gathering, he said: “Even though women are worshipped in Indian culture, they are suppressed for various reasons. Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) has been engaged in empowering women in the state.” tnn
