4 Telangana cops injured during protest over sexual assault on 6-year-old girl by teacher

HYDERABAD: Tension prevailed in Kamareddy town on Tuesday after family members of a six-year-old girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted by a teacher indulged in scuffle with cops deployed in the school. Four cops were injured in the scuffle.

The accused has been identified as PET teacher Nagaraju. The girl's family members and others gathered in large numbers at the school, demanding action against the school managemen. The crowd tried to barge into the school andclashed with the cops, leaving four cops injured.
