(Secunderabad) brooked no challenge as they romped to a convincing 154-run win over
SP College
in the final of the HCA's U-19 Inter-College & Schools Tournament at the RGIC Stadium, here on Sunday.
Put into bat, Jahnavi were off to a flying start with in-form

, who struck three double centuries and a century in the tournament, and S Vaishnav Reddy (5) adding a quick-fire 43 before the latter fell. Jahnavi lost

(0) in the same over to Chandralok. However, Rishiket and Vinay Kumar (13) steadied the innings with a 51-run stand for the third wicket.
The prolific Rishiket, who topscored with 78 (69b; 6x4, 4x6), fell with the score reading 106 but N Vijay Aakash took over the proceedings. He added 44 for the fifth wicket with Lokesh (19) and then 86 for the sixth wicket with M Arvind Reddy, who remained unbeaten on 36. Aakash fell for a 52-ball 73 (5x4, 5x6). Jahnavi ended with 245 for six with Chandralok taking three for 39.
In reply, SP got off to a bad start with Ashrith Goud (0) falling off the fourth ball. Thereafter, SP College were never in the hunt as they lost wickets in regular intervals. They folded up for a paltry 91 with right-arm medium pacer Vijay Aakash coming good with the cherry too. He took five for six in 4.5 overs to hand out a handsome win for his side.
