Two buses will be deployed in the morning and evening rush hour to address the issue of footboarding on the three routes - Uppal-Bogaram, LB Nagar -Ibrahimpatnam, LB Nagar-Gurunanak College. A decision to this effect was taken after a female student passed away after slipping from the steps of the bus and coming under the rear wheels of the vehicle in October last.

In November, a female student slipped and broke her leg while commuting in Ghatkesar.

TSRTC officials stated that these buses would ply in the morning between 8am and 8:30am and in the evening between 4pm and 5pm. Over and above these specials, the officials also plan to ply additional buses on these routes for students to address the rush.
