NEW DELHI: In a major development linked to the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam probe, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) recovered Rs 11 crore in cash during raids at a farmhouse in Kacharam, Shamshabad Mandal, Rangareddy district, Telangana.
According to officials, the cash was found stashed in 12 cardboard boxes at the farmhouse.
The operation is part of the ongoing investigation into the multi-crore liquor scam that allegedly involves illegal kickbacks and money laundering across state lines
