Anganwadi teacher dies of sunstroke
Bhupalpally: A 35-year-old anganwadi teacher died after reportedly suffering a sunstroke in Budharam village in Ghanpur mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Ch Latha, a resident of Budharam village. She was working as an anganwadi teacher in the BC colony of the village.
According to information, Latha had gone on Saturday to distribute nutritional supplements to pregnant women and lactating mothers in the village. She reportedly fell ill while returning home amid severe heat conditions. Family members found her unconscious at her residence and immediately shifted her to a local hospital for treatment.
After examining her health condition, doctors referred her to a private hospital in Hanamkonda for better treatment on Saturday evening. She died while undergoing treatment on Sunday morning. Ghanpur CI Ch Karunakar Rao stated that they had not received any complaint and that no case had been registered.
