Appoint more non-bureaucrats to CIC, ex-chief M Sridhar Acharyulu to President

Currently, there are eight vacancies in the Central Information Commission.

Acharyulu asked the government to shelver the RTI amendment bill. The letter was marked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge.
