CHARMINAR: Shrinking roads due to the ongoing
Charminar Pedestrianisation Project
and huge crowd have become a nightmare for motorists in
Old City
.
People are seen navigating through scores of vehicles and hawkers near the Charminar and its surroundings. Motorists coming from Laad Bazaar, Gulzar Houz and
Pathergatti
have to face a lot of problems passing through Charminar due to the ongoing work and traffic jam. Traffic from
Shahalibanda
also crawls towards Gulzar Houz, Pathergatti and other localities.
"The entire traffic goes slow in many Old City areas. It takes a lot of time to come out of the gridlock, especially near Charminar. The authorities concerned should take note of the daily public woes and ensure a hurdle-free traffic movement," complained motorist
