Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka calls business leaders to join state govt's efforts to shape Telangana future; urges industry to go beyond profit, state’s CSR-friendly ecosystem

HYDERABAD: Deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday appealed to business leaders to look beyond balance sheets to the future that Congress govt is shaping in Telangana and join its efforts to build a fiscally responsible and environmentally conscious Telangana.

"Let us not act out of charity but out of shared responsibility and work for transformation to build societies that flourish. True development is one that empowers people to stand on their feet, especially in today's world of unprecedented resources and extraordinary inequality," he said while addressing the 6th edition of the CSR and Sustainability Conference and Awards for 2024, organised by Assocham Southern Region.

Stating that Telangana is an ideal destination for corporate social responsibility initiatives, he said the state offers an industry friendly ecosystem where there are no language barriers.
