HYDERABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the case of cheating pertaining to the missing truck of jute bags registered with Adilabad police.


The case was booked against Satish Kumar, director of Dharmchand Satish Kumar firm. The alleged incident took place at

Bhoraj check-post

in Adilabad district in Telangana.

Property worth Rs 6 lakh was stolen. The case was initially booked with

Jainath police station

in 2015 June under criminal breach of trust, cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property, penalties of contravention of an order under the

Essential Commodities Act

. The complaint was filed by the jute commissioner office.
