NEW DELHI: BRS working president and MLA KT Rama Rao on Wednesday slammed the Congress after two women journalists were arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly sharing a video of a farmer critical of the state government.
"Is this your Mohabbat ki Dikaan," KTR said while taking a jibe at senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
In a social media post, KTR questioned the Congress government's actions, accusing it of suppressing free speech and calling out alleged incompetence and corruption.
"Arresting two women journalists in the wee hours of the morning!! What is their crime? Giving voice to public opinion on an incompetent and corrupt Congress government. Last I checked, the Constitution of India, which you hold regularly, upholds Freedom of Speech, Mr. Gandhi," KTR posted on X.
