KCR will score a hat-trick: Harish

Finance Minister T Harish Rao of Telangana has predicted that the... Read More
HYDERABAD: Stating that BJP won't even secure deposits in majority of the seats in the upcoming assembly elections, finance minister T Harish Rao on Saturday advised BJP national president JP Nadda to "constitute a committee for securing deposits" in the polls. He also ridiculed BJP leader BL Santosh's comments that there would be a 'hung' assembly.

It would not be a hung assembly, instead, it would be hat-trick for KCR (K Chandrasekhar Rao), he said, adding that both Nadda and Santosh could not bring BJP to power in their respective states, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka, in the assembly polls.

Harish Rao participated in various programmes in Mancherial on Saturday and laid the foundation for Phaddanpally lift irrigation project at Hazipur and inaugurated a 50-bed government hospital at Chennur.

Using cricket terminology, the minister said that while "BRS will hit a sixer, Congress will end up run-out as it is trying for a run without any chance and BJP will suffer duck out in the assembly elections". He hoped that the pink party would secure all the 10 assembly seats in the erstwhile Adilabad district. "Congress situation is like West Indies, which did not qualify for World Cup-2023. BRS will hit a century, securing 100 seats in the elections and retain power," he said.
