Lok Sabha elections in T’ganalikely in Apr 1st week: Kishan

Hyderabad: Union Minister G Kishan Reddy here on Sunday said the Lok Sabha elections could be held in the first week of April in Telangana.
Addressing party workers, Kishan urged the people not to vote for BRS and said any vote given to the party would amount to throwing it into the Musi river.
“BRS is solely responsible for pushing the state into debt trap. The situation came to a stage where the government was not in a position to pay salaries to the employees,” Kishan said. Telangana would get no benefit if people chose BRS as it cannot play a role in Centre, Kishan added.
Asking the party workers to pull their socks up for the upcoming elections, Kishan said: “The Congress government in Telangana was not serious about the promises made to the people.”
The ruling Congress also does not appear to have a roadmap regarding implementation of the six guarantees and other promises, he added. “Congress is not in a position to spell out how it would free the state from the debt trap. It does not have a clear plan on how it would complete the already-grounded irrigation projects” Kishan said.
Asserting that the BJP is set to return to power for a third time at the Centre, he said, “Narendra Modi would become Prime Minister for the third time.”
Referring to the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, he said it is not just a temple but symbolises the self-respect of Hindus in 150 countries around the globe.
