Sandra Venkata Veeraiah among 4 chargesheeted in cash-for-vote case by ACB
HYDERABAD: ACB has filed chargesheets against four persons, including Sathupalle MLA
On May 31, 2015, ACB sleuths had laid a trap at the then nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson’s friend Malcolm Taylor’s flat in
ACB arrested Revanth Reddy, his associate Uday Simha and bishop Harry Sebastian in the case. Subsequently, in July 2015, after multiple rounds of questioning, ACB arrested MLA
ACB alleged that Revanth along with the other accused had offered Rs 5 crore bribe to nominated Stephenson to vote in favour of TDP candidate in MLC elections. As advance payment, Revanth offered Rs 50 lakh cash to Stephenson on May 31 at the latter’s friend’s flat in Vikrampuri Colony when ACB sleuths raided the place and arrested the then TDP working president.
The entire episode of Revanth talking to Stephenson was recorded in phones set up at the houses of Stephenson in Bhoiguda and his friend’s flat in Vikrampuri Colony on May 30 and May 31, 2015.

The first chargesheet was filed by ACB in July 2015 against Revanth Reddy, Harry Sebastian and Uday Simha. Subsequently, in January 2017, ACB had filed a supplementary chargesheet against Sandra in the case.ACB alleged that Revanth along with the other accused had offered Rs 5 crore bribe to nominated Stephenson to vote in favour of TDP candidate in MLC elections.
