SCR announces new Bharat Gaurav train

Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) on Thursday announced a new Bharat Gaurav Yatra, covering Vaishno Devi Temple, Haridwar and Rishikesh, starting from Secunderabad Railway Station on June 10.The train will cover important pilgrimage and historical places in the Northern part of the country while providing boarding/de-boarding facilities at seven important stations in Telangana and Maharashtra. These are Secunderabad, Kazipet, Ramagundam and Sirpur Khagaznagar in Telangana as well as Balharshah, Wardha and Nagpur in Maharashtra. The train will cover important places like Katra, Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Haridwar and Rishikesh. For Vaishno Devi Temple, tourists who wish to travel from Katra to the Temple by either pony/doli (palanquin)/helicopter, need to book on their own. The trip will span eight to nine days.
