As per rules, only those who submit 'B' form will be considered party's official candidates and these can be done till last day for filing nominations.

Congress MLA Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy filed nomination from Kalwakurthy, backed by the party. Athram Sakku (Asifabad), Akula Lalitha (Armoor), Budida Suvarna and Budida Bikshamiah (both from Alair) and Sunnam Nagamanee (

Aswaraopeta

) also filed nominations as Congress candidates. While mahakutami is yet to announce its candidates, TDP aspirants S Susheel Kumar Goud (Tandur) and Shaga Raju (Station Ghanpur) filed their nominations on Monday.

Despite TRS declaring Bethi Subhash Reddy as its Uppal candidate, the 'rebel' Nandikonda Srinivas Reddy, too, filed nomination. Srinivas Reddy had opposed the party move but Subhash Reddy has been given the official 'B' form.

A few candidates close to KCR, however, chose to go ahead with nominations on Day 1 itself - Kova Laxmi from Asifabad, Koppula Eashwara from Dharmapuri, Putta Madhukar from Manthani and Gongidi Sunitha from Alair. Madanlal Banoth filed three sets of nominations from Wyra. In Koratla, Kalvakuntla Vidyasagar Rao, the official TRS nominee, and his wife Kalvakuntla Saroja filed nominations.
