HYDERABAD: Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy arrived in the national capital on Friday and submitted his resignation from Lok Sabha.

Revanth Reddy met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla for this purpose. Reddy, who represents the Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency in Telangana, is also expected to hold discussions with party general secretary K C Venugopal on various issues, including preparations for the implementation of the party's six guarantees promised during the election campaign.


The swearing-in ceremony of chief minister Revanth Reddy took place on Thursday, attended by prominent Congress leaders, including party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, former party chiefs Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, and Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah.
