Telangana woman, lover held for masking husband’s murder as suicide

HYDERABAD: Kandukur police nabbed a woman on Saturday on charges of killing her husband with her lover's help. The accused, Prameela, tried to mask the death as a case of suicide, but it was found to be a murder after a post-mortem was done.

Police said the victim's parents lodged a complaint suspecting their daughter-in-law's role in their son's death. It subsequently emerged that Prameela and her lover strangled Praveen to death and hung him from the ceiling.
