University of Hyderabad students stage midnight protest in support of JNU students

HYDERABAD: Students of University of Hyderabad organised a midnight flash protest condemning the attacks on Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students.

Raising slogans against the attackers and Delhi Police, scores of students took out a rally at the campus at around 12am on Sunday night. They demanded that the culprits be punished.

The members of NSUI too organised a midnight protest at the Ambedkar Statute in support of JNU students at 2am.

“We can't be waiting for our turn my fellow Indians. Enough is enough, stand up and raise your voice. Fight for your rights and the unity of your country before it's too late,” said Aamer Javeed of NSUI, who led the protest.
