2 deaths, 147 new cases in Manipur

and succumbed to the virus at JNIMS hospital, a state health department statement informed on Wednesday.


During the same time, 147 persons, including 6 Central Armed Police Force personnel, tested positive for the virus. With this, the total number of cases in the state rose to 25,390. With 21,937 patients having been discharged from Covid care centres after recovering from the disease, 219 of them since Tuesday night, the cumulative number of active cases has gone down to 3,162, the statement said, adding that the recovery rate has climbed up to 86.40%.
