Lack of edu cause of turmoil: CM

Imphal: Chief minister N Biren Singh has claimed that the primary cause of present-day turmoil in Manipur is lack of knowledge. Addressing the launch ceremony of the College Fagathansi Mission at Moirang College, Biren said the government has approved and sanctioned another 120 government schools to be developed under the scheme ‘School Fagathansi’ mission, which was initially launched in January 2018. In the initial phase of the mission, one high or higher secondary school in a total of 120 was chosen in each assembly constituency, and now a total of 240 schools will be developed under the mission as it advances towards its objectives, Biren added.
