Cobra gets trapped in fishing net, rescued in Barwani village

Barwani: A spectacled cobra got trapped in a fishing net kept inside a fisherman's house at Lohara rehabilitation village in Anjad area of Barwani district.The fisherman, Gaju Kahar, was in for a surprise when he saw his fishing net after a day's catch. A spectacled cobra trapped in the net was struggling to free itself. The snake remained entangled in the net for two hours.A large crowd gathered to witness the distressed reptile when someone notified snake catcher Nilesh Upadhyay. Upadhyay reached Kahar's house and successfully rescued the cobra. The reptile was later released safely into the forest.
