Man booked for molestation, attempted murder after woman falls from first floor of house

Indore: A man was booked for molestation and attempt to murder after a woman fell from the first floor of a house in Khajrana area early Thursday. She was admitted to a nearby private hospital for treatment. Based on statement of the woman and her family, Khajrana police registered an FIR against Aniket and launched a search for him.
Khajrana police station in-charge Manoj Sendhav said Aniket, who was known to the woman, called her to the terrace to meet him. In the complaint, the woman's family alleged that during the conversation, Aniket pressured her to accompany him. When she refused, he allegedly abused her and began assaulting her. Hearing her screams, family members rushed towards the terrace. It is alleged that amid the commotion, Aniket pushed her and fled the spot. Standing near the railing, she lost balance and fell from the first floor.
