NSUI wins numbers game, ABVP the big ones
INDORE: In the student union elections held on Monday, National Students Union of India (NSUI) bagged
The NSUI claimed to have won in 107 colleges out of the total 125 in Indore, whereas ABVP announced its victory in over 33 colleges.

We only targeted those colleges which had a more students unlike NSUI, who are claiming victory in colleges which run only on paper," ABVP national secretary Rohin Rai said. The ABVP now plans to carry out a rally of its elected CRs from all colleges.
Meanwhile in some colleges, either the entire council or some of its posts were suspended. “At all the 125 colleges of Indore, which also includes colleges of Mhow, Rau, Sanwer and Depalpur, the student union elections were held peacefully, as the police helped in keeping the situation under control,” said additional director of department of higher education Indore region, KN Chaturvedi.

The prominent colleges where NSUI has shined include Gujarati Innovative College, SD Bansal College, BM College Softvision College etc,” NSUI spokesperson Pankaj Prajapati said. Meanwhile, the colleges where ABVP marked its victory were Renaissance College, Christian Eminent College, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, MB Khalsa College, Maharaja Ranjeet Singh College etc."The ABVP has secured victory at leading colleges of the city where student strength is above 500.
