Indore: Vijay Nagar police have booked a restaurant employee and his friends for beating his colleague over an argument with him.
The accused Vishal, who worked as a cashier at the restaurant, had an argument over some work with another cashier Nihal Kumar. The argument escalated to an extent that the restaurant owner had to intervene in the matter, police said.
Subsequently, Vishal became angry and left his job. He went near Metro Tower Road square and called his friends. When Nihal was going back to his house on a two-wheeler they stopped him and thrashed him. Nihal somehow managed to flee the spot and went to Vijay Nagar police station leaving his vehicle behind. He then didn’t go to work for two days, police said.
When the owner called him after two days, he narrated the whole incident. The owner then checked CCTV footage of the area and took him to the police station on Thursday. They submitted a complaint letter along with footages to police.
Vijay Nagar police station in-charge Ravindra Gurjar said, “Acting on a complaint of the victim we have booked the accused under relevant section of IPC. Investigation is on and the accused will be arrested soon.”
