Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a historic victory in Arunachal Pradesh by winning all Lok Sabha seats in the state. The Northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh has two Lok Sabha constituencies: Arunachal Pradesh East and Arunachal Pradesh West. BJP's senior leader Kiren Rijiju has won the Arunachal West seat. He defeated Nabam Tuki by a margin of 100738 votes.
The state saw a contest between BJP and INDIA Bloc. Both Kiren Rijiju and Tapir Gao are BJP candidates for Arunachal Pradesh. Tapir Gao won from the Arunanchal Pradesh East seat. He defeated Indian National Congress' Bosiram Siram by a margin of 30421 votes. .
Sixty assembly seats of Arunachal Pradesh also went to polls with the Lok Sabha elections on April 19. BJP has received a landslide victory in assembly polls in the state.
