Daporijo, located in Upper Subansiri district is one of the 60 Assembly constituencies in Arunachal Pradesh.

In the Assembly election 2019, Taniya Soki (BJP) won the seat with 6,019 votes received and 48.65% vote share. Dikto Yekar of JD(U) was the runner-up with 5,897 votes (47.66% vote share). The margin of votes between the two candidates was 122.
In the Assembly election 2014, Dikto Yekar (INC) won the seat with 6,278 votes (49.75% vote share). The runner-up was Tapensiga (BJP) who received 6,241 votes (49.46% vote share). The margin of votes between the two candidates was 37.
