Nari-Koyu Assembly Election Result 2024: Tojir Kadu of BJP wins

NEW DELHI: Tojir Kadu of BJP wins from Nari-Koyu constituency of Arunachal Pradesh with 4545 votes.
Gegong Apang of Arunachal Democratic Party remains runner-up with 2896 votes.


Nari-Koyu constituency is one of the 60 seats that make up the Arunachal Pradesh assembly.


Nari-Koyu is a part of the lower Siang district. This constituency went into polling on April 19 of the State Assembly elections, 2024. It is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.


Prominent candidates of the 2024 assembly elections included Tojir Kadu (BJP) and Gegong Apang (ARDP).

2019 ResultIn the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections, the voter turnout for the Nari-Koyu Assembly constituency was approximately 81%. Kento Rina of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged victorious. Significant contenders included Kento Rina, an Independent candidate who later joined the BJP, and Kento Bengia from the National People's Party (NPP), who did not win the seat.

2014 ResultIn the 2014 state elections, the voter turnout for the Nari-Koyu Assembly constituency was around 76%. Kento Rina, then an Independent candidate, won the election with a substantial majority. The main contenders were Kenyir Ringu from the Indian National Congress (INC) and Takar Marde from the People's Party of Arunachal (PPA), who did not secure enough votes to win the seat.
