Thrizino-Buragaon is designated as constituency number 8 and located in the West Kameng district.
Falling under the Arunachal West Lok Sabha constituency, it is reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates and is predominantly inhabited by indigenous tribes such as the Aka (Hrusso) and Miji communities.
The constituency has a voting population of approximately 14,700 people, with a literacy rate of around 58%, highlighting the need for improved educational facilities and resources. The 2019 assembly elections saw a voter turnout of about 80%, indicating a high level of political engagement among residents.
Thrizino-Buragaon has seen active competition between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC). In the 2019 assembly elections, Kumsi Sidisow of the BJP won the seat, having previously secured victory in 2014 as an INC candidate before switching to the BJP.
