JAIPUR: The crime branch of city police on Tuesday arrested a 22-year-old gun smuggler and recovered five firearms and a huge cache of ammunition. Police have identified the accused as Kuldeep Singh, a native of Bansur in
Alwar
district.
Police recovered four pistols, one desi katta and 12 live cartridges. The crime branch said Singh’s interrogation led to the involvement of two other accused in Alwar.
“The accused said he had brought these firearms from Indore in Madhya Pradesh and supplied some of them in Alwar and Jaipur,” said an official, adding that Alwar police also arrested two accused identified as Mohit Yadav and
