Edu min assures teachers on amending rules of promotion

Jaipur: Education minister BD Kalla during a meeting with the government schoolteachers on Monday assured them that the Rajasthan Education Service Amendment Rules, 2022 will be tabled at the upcoming cabinet meeting. Teachers said that the amended rules are likely to help around 50,000 teachers with promotions.“Due to Educational Services Rules 2021, promotions are not being done in the education department. The Education Service Amendment Rules, 2022 have been approved by all the departments. Today (Monday) we met the education minister, and he assured us that the amended rules will be tabled in the cabinet meeting and once approved, it will help in starting promotions for around 50,000 teachers in the department,” said Vipin Sharma, senior vice president of Rajasthan Primary and Secondary Education Teachers’ Association.
