ITF 200 Tennis: Arun Kataria to face Ranju Cherian in 45 plus men’s singles final

Jaipur: Arun Kataria will clash with Ranju Cherian in the men's singles 45 plus category final of the Raghu Sinha ITF 200 Tennis tournament, organised by the Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Charitable Trust, at the Jaipur Club courts here on Thursday.In the 45 plus men's singles semi-finals played on Thursday, Kataria and Cherian carved out contrasting wins over their respective rivals to seal berth in the final.Jagdish Tanwar and Deepak Bagora will compete in the men's singles 50 plus category final. Gurdarshan Singh Ramana reached the final in the 55 plus section.In the 60 plus group, Prema Sherpa, Sanjeev Mehra, Inderpal Singh, Dinesh Kumar Phulwaria and Ram Prakash Gupta entered the second round. Similarly, in the 65 plus category, Richhpal Singh Jakhar, Yogesh Shah, Ajit Bhardwaj and Rakesh Kohli advanced to the next round.Women players in the women's singles 30 plus section, Rani Smita Jain, Kanika Chaudhary, Deepmala Yadav and Nimisha Jain moved up.
