Jaipur: If Independent MLA Sanyam Lodha invited the wrath of speaker C P Joshi which resulted in his eviction for disobeying him on Tuesday, it was the turn of senior Congress MLA

Ramnarayan Meena

on Wednesday.
Meena got into an argument with Joshi after he did not allow him to ask supplementary questions.
Meena asked is there any upper-income limit for the benefit of scholarship to Other Backward Classes, MBCs and EWS? Whether the government proposes to abolish or increase the maximum income limit prescribed for the same? In response to the question, social justice and empowerment minister

Tikaram Julie

said that the provision of income limit in scholarship will not end and the limit is fixed by the Centre.
On this, Ramnarayan Meena asked a supplementary question regarding the income limit to scholarship of SC-STs, which the speaker did not approve saying that it is not related to the original question. Angry Meena said, “Asking questions is the privilege of members. It won’t work.” To this, Joshi retorted, “Asking irrelevant questions is not allowed, this is not a privilege.”
Meena started speaking again. The tussle between the speaker and Ramnarayan Meena continued for some time speaker threatened that he will be evicted.
The angry speaker reprimanded Ramnarayan Meena and told the parliamentary affairs minister that this would not be tolerated.
