Woman robbed of valuables worth over 1.5cr in Ambabari area

Times News NetworkJaipur: A 45-year-old woman was overpowered, attacked and robbed of jewellery and other valuables by two domestic helps and their accomplice in Ambabari area in the city Monday evening. The woman was alone at home when the duo overpowered her and attacked her with a knife. The stolen gold and valuables could be worth between Rs 1.5 and Rs 2 crore as per a preliminary investigation, police said. The culprits took less than 10 minutes for the robbery.The victim, identified as Jyoti Agarwal, is a close relative of Subhash Goyal, a representative of a traders' union in Jaipur, DCP (North) Rashi Dogra told TOI. Her husband runs a hardware shop in New Aatish Market.The robbery took place at Jyoti's house near the vegetable market in Ambabari.
