6 more dead identified

PANCHAKULA: Police here identified six more people on Monday who were killed in the violence triggered by the August 25 conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet

. With this, of the 31 people killed in the violence in Panchkula, 27 have been identified.

The deceased are: Chander Pal, a resident of Uttarakhand; Pyare Lal, a resident of Jind (Haryana); Sachha, a resident of Kaithal (Haryana); Balwinder Singh, a resident of Karnal (Haryana); Kulwant Singh, a resident of Sangrur (Punjab); and Bittoo, a resident of Jind (Haryana).
