Police said that trouble began when two Bajrang Dal activists visited the eatery owned by one Bauwa Savita to buy snacks and questioned the man about his identity. They got suspicious about the taste of ‘veg kebab' and informed the police about it.

The activists got agitated when the accused, upon being questioned by the police, identified himself as Mohd Kallu.

A Bajrang Dal activist, Vikas Shukla, said, "Two of our members went to eat ‘veg kebab-paratha' at a stall near Ramgopal Crossing in the Gujaini area of the city. They noticed a different taste, which raised suspicion. When they asked the name of the man wearing a t-shirt with ‘Jai Shri Ram' written on it, he hesitated. The duo informed other members and the police about the issue."

Police reached the spot and questioned the man, who revealed his identity as Mohd Kallu. This angered the activists, who accused him of adulteration and created a ruckus. The police pacified the agitators and assured them of strict action against the accused.

Gujaini police station in-charge Vinay Tiwari said, "Mohd Kallu is an employee at Bauwa Savita's eatery shop. Bajrang Dal activists have lodged a complaint alleging adulteration. Action will be taken based on evidence and other requisite findings."
