Kanpur: Around 8000 people have sent their suggestions online on the topics of entrepreneurship, education, art and culture, tourism innovation, happiness, security business, startups employment, cleanliness, smart policing traffic ets regarding vision Kanpur 2047.
Divisional commissioner Raj Shekhar termed it as a good sign and said that a large number of city residents are aware and working for their city.
The people of Kanpur were asked to submit their suggestions on Vision Kanpur 2047’s website “visionkanpur2047.com till December 7 but considering the trend it has been decided to extend the date for one more week till December 15 so that more and more Kanpurites could participate, the commissioner said.
One can send his suggestions online on a website after the due date sector committee and core committees of Vision Kanpur 2047 could give shape to their draft plan. He said an e-magazine is also being published on Vision Kanpur for which any citizen of the city can send his/her articles related to the history of 1947 to 2022 and the vision of Kanpur from 2023 to 2047 at vision 2047@gmail.com or can contact Sudhanshu Rai, coordinator of Vision Kanpur and Editor-in-Chief of E-Patrika on the number 8299173086.
