Edu most transformative mechanism to bring about equality: Dhankhar

Kanpur: Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankar on Sunday emphasized the significance of education in constructing a new India. He elaborated on the nation's youth potential and the necessity to cultivate this through knowledge and expertise.Speaking at the golden jubilee founder's day of Seth AnandRam Jaipuria School, he said,"I greatly admire the Jaipuria family's commitment to quality education. I believe education is the most transformative mechanism to bring about equality."The Vice-President said children must harbour curiosity towards learning and should not fear failure. He honoured three exceptional students of the school namely Isha Agarwal, Akarsh Omar and Vedika Gupta.UP governor Anandiben Patel said, "There are no shortcuts to success. Critical thinking is important to find solutions. It's important to have a clear goal in life. Education is the most important weapon." She commended Jaipuria School for pursuing the progressive vision for nation-building.In his welcome address Shishir Jaipuria expressed gratitude to the Vice-President of India and other distinguished guests for their presence.The golden jubilee founders' day was attended by special guests, students, teachers, parents and alumni of the school. On November 30, the school organised a cultural event titled 'Sparsh' which was graced by the Padma Vibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan as the guest of honour. The evening also featured the presentation of Rajaram Jaipuria Achievers' Award to a distinguished alumnus.
