KANPUR: After dengue has gripped a large number of people in the city,

The CMO office is has also geared up to take strict action against private hospitals and nursing homes which are not making available reports to the CMO regarding admission of dengue patients and their treatment. As per government orders, all private hospitals have been directed to send dengue related reports to the CMO office so that the records of such patients could be maintained by it. So far, the CMO office has not received any report from private hospitals/nursing homes regarding dengue positive cases despite several patients getting treatment in these hospitals.
