JD Club defeats National Club

Kanpur: JD Club defeated National Club by 88 runs and won first Ramesh Verma (Eklavya) memorial T-20 cricket tournament here at Palika Stadium on Saturday. JD Club batting scored 199 runs with the help of Aman Rajput’s knock of 86 runs. National Club in reply could muster 111 runs in 19.5 overs.After the final chief guest Satish Mahana speaker, the Legislative assembly gave away prizes to winners and runner up teams. Shivam Dubey (National Club), Zaheeruddin (JD Club) were adjudged as best batsman and bowler of the tournament and Aman Rajput was adjudged as player of the tournament.
