Kanpur Walk unites citizens for devpt

Kanpur: Scores of Kanpurites, including the district magistrate, doctors, businessmen, social persons and sports persons participated in the Kanpur Walk, which proceeded from Nana Rao Park to the Green Park stadium on Sunday. District magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh, Prakash Pal, regional president Kanpur- Bundelkhand BJP, and founder Sudhanshu Rai inaugurated the event, which was organised under the auspices of Kanpur Super 100.The DM speaking on the occasion said, "Kanpur is a city with unlimited potential and a clear vision is needed to establish it as a model city. We all have a collective responsibility to make it prosperous. We must cultivate a positive mindset that inspires people to work together" Sudhanshu Rai, founder of Kanpur Super 100, stated that this group comprises 100 experts and aims to develop a detailed roadmap for Kanpur and present it to the city by 2026. To this end, a "Kanpur Conclave" is also proposed in the near future.Anil Gupta, coordinator of Kanpur Walk, said that the walk marked the launch of Kanpur Super 100, the objective of which was to awaken positive feelings among t public towards their city.Chaitanya Arun Puri, Ratan Srivastava (Rtd. IPS), Umesh Paliwal, Vimal Jhajharia, Balram Narula, Sharad Bajpai, Anurag Mehrotra, (Colonel Zahid Siddiqui (Rtd), Major Yogendra Katiyar (Rtd) , Indra Mohan Rohatgi, Anil Gupta, and S K Mishra were present among the dignitaries.
