KOLLAM: Two individuals have been arrested for their involvement in a burglary at Union Minister Suresh Gopi's residence in the district, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
The suspects, aged 18 and 20, were detained the previous day following an investigation into the theft of old items from a storage shed near Gopi's residence, situated within the jurisdiction of Eravipuram police station. The police have officially documented their arrests.
The authorities stated that the alleged theft occurred recently during the absence of Gopi's family members from the premises.
