21-year-old found dead on roof of 4-storey building in Ekbalpore

KOLKATA: A 21-year-old was found dead in Ekbalpore on Tuesday night. Cops said Md Sajjad Hussain was found dead on the roof of a four-storey building close to his residence. He had been missing since Tuesday afternoon. No formal police complaint was lodged at that time.


Sources said Hussain might have fallen off the adjoining six-storey under-construction building while trying to collect a kite. “Hussain was obsessed with kite flying and there is a possibility he tried to catch one dangling from the under-construction building and fell. However, chances of suicide or homicide will be ruled out only after we receive the post-mortem report,” said an officer.
