Kolkata Traffic Police warn against truncated bus services

KOLKATA: Kolkata Traffic Police has asked all 25 guards to ensure that no buses truncate their routes and ply along only 'profitable' segments, especially in the evenings, on puja days.

Police have asked all bus workers not to put up boards displaying the name of any particular puja. They have also been asked to arrange for as many buses as possible for plying late into the night and early in the morning.
