This February, prepare to be enchanted by Sur Jahan 2025, the annual flagship festival of Banglanatak dot com, dedicated to celebrating harmony and togetherness through music. Guided by the motto ‘Music for Peace, Music for All,’ this non-ticketed international music festival has been captivating audiences since its inception in Kolkata in 2011.

Over the years, Sur Jahan has become a symbol of cultural diversity and collaboration, hosting musicians from 32 countries and traveling to iconic cities like Panjim, Delhi, Jaipur, and Patna. By uniting folk, national, and international artists, the festival fosters cross-cultural connections and the universal spirit of music.

From January 31 to February 2, Golf Green Central Park will host three days of mesmerizing performances, cultural showcases, and artistic collaborations. The festival will feature three acclaimed international bands:

Umbra Ensemble (Iceland): A spellbinding blend of sacred and secular medieval melodies alongside traditional Icelandic songs.

Folkcorn (Netherlands): Masters of traditional Dutch folk music since 1973.

Ale Moller Trio (Sweden): Led by Ale Moller, the “Godfather of Nordic Music,” renowned worldwide for his contributions to Scandinavian folk.

Indian performers will add a vibrant touch to the festival, including:

Kasam Khan Langa and team: Presenting soulful folk music from Rajasthan’s desert.
