a week ago. He was initially admitted with respiratory trouble. Later, he was critical and put on ventilator support. On Thursday, he suffered two cardiac arrests.

Ushahie resumed shooting after she tested negative recently. She was on the shooting floor of Sreemoyee, in which she plays June aunty. “I lost my mother (Shipra Bhowmik) at a very young age. My father brought me up with great care. He was a full-time politician but never imposed any political belief on me. He allowed me to be exactly the way I wanted to build my life. He has a big influence in my life. He inspired me in whatever I did. Whatever little social work I did till date is what I learnt from him. Yes, I am a bit lonely today,” she told us. Ushashie, along with her friends, went to the hospital. The politician will be cremated according to Covid protocols.
