KOLKATA: A team from the homicide section of CID - which is probing the death of a 17-year-old girl, Riti Saha, hailing from Netaji Nagar in Kolkata, at her hostel in Vizag where she was preparing for her NEET exams - have questioned a few hostel staff and recorded the statements of some doctors who had treated the girl when she was brought to the Venkat Ram Hospital for treatment.

CID sources said it would soon move court to question the four accused who were arrested on Friday by the Vizag Police for being negligent in this case. "We will question them to ascertain the chain of events. We are also trying to carry out a forensic examination using a dummy to ascertain the angle and nature of fall, similar to the one used at Jadavpur University Main hostel," said a senior police officer.
