Kerala: Alappuzha registers 353 Covid-19 cases and 792 recoveries

Of the cases reported on Monday, 345 patients contracted the disease through
Till date, 29,663 people tested negative in the district. At present, 8,617 people are undergoing treatment in the district.
The district on Monday also confirmed four Covid-19-related deaths.

Alappuzha police on Monday registered 32 cases and arrested 15 people for acting against the directions of the governments for preventing the spread of Covid-19. As per the press note of the police, action was taken against 301 people for not wearing masks, 960 people for not maintaining social distancing. The police said that they have registered one case and took action against 76 people for violating prohibitory orders imposed in the district under section 144 of the CrPC.
